Verbatim Reporting is an independently owned firm located on Madison’s Capitol Square. We are certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. All of our reporters are certified by the National Court Reporters Association. Certifications include Certified Realtime, Registered Professional, and Certified LiveNote Reporters. We take pride in our profession and are dedicated to the advancement of the court reporting profession. Our experience includes everything from personal injury to medical malpractice to bankruptcy to engineering to complex patent infringement cases. We have provided daily copy transcripts and/or realtime for depositions and trials.

Taunia Northouse, Verbatim’s founder, has provided court reporting services in the Madison area since 1975 and is past president of the Wisconsin Court Reporters Association. She is a Registered Diplomate Reporter, the highest level of certification a reporter can achieve. She also is a Certified LiveNote Reporter and has earned a certificate as a Realtime Systems Administrator.
